Reversed-Phase and Weak Cation-Exchange on a Single Column

The Acclaim^® Mixed-Mode WCX-1 is a novel, high-efficiency, silica-based column, manufactured by bonding a specially designed proprietary ligand with both hydrophobic and weak cation-exchange properties. Selectivity of ionizable and neutral compounds can be controlled independently or simultaneously by tuning phase ionic strength, pH or organic modifier. This column therefore can separate using multiple separation modes: reversed phase, cation exchange, and normal phase/HILIC.
